Tree of Life I (Namaz series),
2005 This piece, once again inspired by prayer rugs, shows the Tree of Life. This well known symbol belongs to the Judeo/Christian and Islamic traditions and allegedly represents the tree that grew in the Garden of Eden. This is a double Tree of Life, the trunk of which divides, only to become one again, and acquiring ever greater strength.
