Vasant (Spring), 2007 Spring in India, as in the
rest of the world, brings a strong feeling of life bursting
afresh. The air is full of scents: mango trees are covered in
blossoms and the tall mustard plants fill the fields with a mottled
pattern of yellow and green, that has inspired generations of poets and
